Welcome to Coastal Chaos, Guernsey’s beach-based obstacle course race!

The third race in the Tornado Fitness Racing calendar brings mayhem to (approximately…) 9 miles of Guernsey’s amazing west coast!

Embark on a rollercoaster ride of mixed-terrain including road, beach, coastal track and even a trip down into the depths of the Ronez quarry to collect your treasure…

How Does Coastal Chaos Work?

The race can be run as an individual or as a pair with
Runner 1 completing the first half of the race finishing after “Tyre’d Out” at Vazon Bay. Runner 2 will complete the second half of the race.

Heats containing 3-4 competitors will start their adventure every 3 minutes to prevent any bottlenecks at workout challenges, starting at 0900, 0903, 0906…. until the last heat starting at 0957 (depending on entry numbers).

Heats will be determined according to your predicted 10km running time which must be submitted as part of your registration. Failure to do this accurately can ruin your race and cause bottlenecks.

Solo and Pairs competitors will set off together based on individual 10km time or the average 10km time of your pairs.

You will NOT be able to choose your start time and must be available at any time shown in your category.

Final start times will be published 7 days before the race and we won’t respond to requests for set times.
